mast-mcbride and the love list had a little holiday party a few weeks ago,

with spirits from firefly distillery and sweetwater brewery,

snacks from jct,

and music from harrison powell.

it was such a fun night seeing friends and celebrating mast-mcbride!

well, i finally got on the mint jean band wagon! if you know me well, you know that i am typically a very careful {indecisive?} shopper. i like to do my research before making a purchase and make sure that i really like the item before i take it home. thanks to pinterest, i am able to virtually look at a variety of options before even stepping foot in a store. one quick search for "mint jeans" and i found this montage of photos with great styling tips.  since this is a trend and not an investment piece, the pair in the bottom left corner marked $58 really caught my eye.  after reading lots of reviews on urban outfitters, i decided to head to the store and try them on.  thankfully, i feel in love with them and they are now mine.  i am so excited to incorporate them into my wardrobe.  get ready, because i'm probably going to be wearing them all summer!

we were hopeful to find some fall inspiration,

but all we found were these amazing outfits.

totally 80s and grungy 90s.

part of me wishes i could sport that

every day this fall.

too bad it's ridiculous.

i did find these fabulous pants,

that perfectly encompass fall.

now all i need is for them to go on sale!
