well, here we are on the happiest day of our lives, our wedding day.  it was quite a journey to get to that day, and i can only imagine the journey that is ahead of us.

this is a blog of our lives as newlyweds married people, though i will be the one doing all the posting. so what will you find on writing with light? as a photographer, i get to capture and tell stories through my camera.  i love that the roots of the word 'photography' mean both light and writing.  photography can capture moments in life that surpass written words and can evoke emotion for generations to come.  i want this blog to visually inspire and be a place to write our family's story through photographs.

so a little bit about myself::

well, i am a sinner saved by Grace.  i honestly do not know where i would be without my relationship with Christ.  He is my everything and i strive to glorify Him in everything that i do, though fall short daily.  the Lord has blessed me beyond what i could have ever dreamed for myself.

i am married to my best friend and we love living in the beautiful south.  some things that i love:: photography, decorating, watching t.v. series, buying things on sale, oysters, trader joe's wine and expensive cheese, reading on porches, mexican food, nail polish, chocolate ice cream + strawberries, and going on vacation to Boca Grande, Florida.
