well, i have been meaning to blog, really i have; however, life has just been way t0o busy! do you see a pattern here? one of my
many resolutions for the new year is to get a little better about blogging. more on resolutions later. we need to discuss christmas first! pre-christmas was crazy for us. i feel like we had something to do or go to every night during the two weeks leading up to christmas break. i finally got my christmas cards out just in time to pack up life for the holidays. once school
finally finished up for me, we drove down to tampa to visit my family, flew out to west texas to visit tyler's family, flew back to tampa, went to orlando for a day, drove back to auburn, and then headed to americus, georgia for new years! did you catch all of that? man, i am tired just thinking about all that travelling. thankfully i am able to fall asleep really easily and slept during most of those travelling hours :) so, what have we been up to besides packing, travelling and re-packing? lots of eating, lots of sleeping, lots of baking/cooking, lots of gift giving, lots of tv/movie watching, and a little bit of walking. pretty much all of my favorite things. does that make me sound lazy? probably, but that is what christmas break is for, right? don't worry, there was definitely a lot of craziness that comes with the holidays and even some adventure! i rode some rollercoasters at islands of adventures in orlando, experienced hunting for the first time, and even practiced my shot with a sweet pistol! gosh, these past few weeks have been packed. i think i am going to have to do this in two posts. for now, here are some pictures from the christmas festivities. new years is just going to have to have its own post!

to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
