meet penny

meet our new little girl, penelope "penny" mccrary. 

 you can call her penny, pen pup, miss penny, missy, or just penn. 

we've only had her for 3 days and she already has so many nick names :)

we have been on the breeder's waiting list for a few months 

so when we got the call to come look at the puppies, we headed to birmingham to check them out.

we were planning on getting her next week and getting puppy prepped this week,

but the breeder said she was ready and it was time. 

we were already in love and knew she was ours, 

so we grabbed a towel from the trunk and decided to take her home.

unprepared parents and all.

thankfully she was so great and slept the whole way home.
